The theme for this year is Ideas Have Consequences. The main goal of this year is to help believers recognize worldly philosophies and reorient their thinking back to a biblical foundation. We will be exploring the origin of numerous ideas that have had a negative impact on the church and in the lives of believers, as well as giving a biblical response to each. On Friday we will look at the danger of trusting in human reason, legalism, and secularism. On Saturday topics will range from ideas that eroded our trust in Scripture, pragmatic philosophies being emphasized above biblical guidance, and the danger of following your heart.

The conference that Emmanuel Bible Church is hosting on October 25-26 will dive into the consequences of ideas. There are so many ways that we can be deceived in this world, and the introduction of ideas into our thinking that are not biblically informed, is a major way that we can become distracted from Kingdom work. Please join us as we will equip ourselves with the tools we need to walk in a way that honors the Lord.

Who should come?
Everyone, children included!
Nursery will be provided for kids under 2 so that parents can attend the conference.
If you have Preschool kids ages 2-5, and grades K-6, please don’t feel like you can’t come, or that your kids will be bored. They will be learning about topics similar to the adults, but in a kid-friendly way. They also will lots of hands-on activities, games, and object lessons. They will have a blast!
