Awana – To grow children in their personal faith in Christ through special emphasis on scripture memorization.
2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
AWANA – A ministry that helps kids know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. The three components of AWANA are:
- Belong – Highly relational ministry led by loving and caring adults
- Believe – Deeply scriptural ministry rooted in the truth of God’ s Word and the power of the gospel
- Become – Truly experiential ministry, designed to move kids from simulation to real-world application of faith-based living
Children, ages 3 through 6th grade, participate in a ministry that focuses on the gospel and encourages them to grow in their faith. Parents disciple their kids through age-appropriate handbooks and scripture memorization during the week. On club night, kids will sing worship songs, recite verses, hear teaching that correlates to their handbooks, experience discipleship and community through a small group time, and have fun playing games. Come join the club!
Awana will take place on Wednesday nights, starting October 2th.
