Lifeguards is for 6th, 7th & 8th graders!  It is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to learn about God and have fun together.
We love to worship the Lord together with singing, prayer, and by studying His Word.  We often invite special guests to come talk with us and share what the Lord is doing in their lives.  We play games together and occasionally "leave the building" to have a special event like swimming or meet at someone's home.  Our annual Retreat at SeaKrest Lodge in Newport is usually scheduled for the spring. The Lifeguard leaders and the Middle School Sunday School teachers work together and share a desire to come alongside parents in encouraging their children in their walk with Jesus.

HIGH SCHOOL - Bringing glory to Jesus by coming alongside parents to love and make disciples of young people!
-Sunday School: Sundays @ 9:30am | Youth Group:Sundays @ 7:00pm

The youth leaders at EBC are always seeking the Lord as to how He wants us to disciple the young people here in our church and outside of our church. We desire to come alongside the youth to share the gospel and our lives with them (I Thess. 2:8) like Jesus did with His disciples. We do this through encouraging kids throughout the week, praying for them, helping them understand God’s word and apply it to their lives, and serving with them in missions, here in our community, and around the world!
Youth Group meetings: Worship, Prayer, Teaching, Small group discussion, and some game times. We also feel that it is important for the youth to share things God is doing in their lives during youth group as often as possible.
Retreats: Focus on worshiping our Lord through sharing our lives with one another- intimate sharing times/small groups, applicable and relevant Bible teaching, skits, and worshiping the Lord with music. We also have other activities whether it be skiing, beach games, water games, etc.
Sunday School: Studying topics or scripture passages.

"So being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us." I Thessalonians 2:8
"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." I Timothy 4:12
